The backdrop of the Morris Hill neighborhood consists of older homes, mature trees, and lilacs blooming in spring, interjected with new homeowners and a wonderful new neighborhood park. The neighborhood has a foundation of older residents with recently added youthful energy. We are a neighborhood in transition which can be seen throughout the area where young new homeowners are reviving their charming older homes next to retired residents that have lived in the neighborhood for over 30 years.
The Morris Hill Neighborhood Association (MHNA) was created to build a sense of community, maintain and protect the uniqueness of our neighborhood, and to allow for City and County neighborhood improvement grant eligibility. We are NOT a Homeowner’s Association and have NO dues or covenant requirements. Donations are always gladly accepted!
The next Morris Hill Neighborhood Association Meeting will be a Neighborhood Open House & Political Candidate Forum on Thursday, October 22, 2009, 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at the Community of Christ Church. Hope to see you there!
